About the authors

 

Drs. Margriet Ackermann was coordinator and developer of the course in academic writing at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, she was academic teacher in Bachelor-phase 1 and 2, where she guided students in tutorial group meetings and practical meetings of other skill courses.
Eveline Osseweijer is ICT programmer at the Institute for Psychology at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before, she worked as a teacher in several schools in secondary education.
Prof.dr. Henk van der Molen is professor of Psychology at the Institute for Psychology and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has many years of experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of training in professional communication skills.
Prof.dr. Henk Schmidt is professor of Psychology at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He was founding dean of the Psychology curriculum at this University. Before he came to Rotterdam, he worked at the University of Maastricht. There, he was professor in Cognitive Psychology. He is specialised in learning and memory and has published a lot about problem-based learning and the development of expertise in all kinds of domains .
 Estella van der Wal Estella van der Wal, MSc is coordinator of the course in academic writing at the Institute for Psychology at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, she is coordinator of several other courses in academic and professional skills and academic teacher in Bachelor-phase 1 and 2, where she guides students in tutorial group meetings and practical meetings of other professional skill courses.
